Ways to Make Money Without Getting A Job

It doesn’t have to be difficult to make money. Some people have a knack for it, but just because you’re not some self made millionaire by the age of 25 doesn’t mean that it’s too late in the game for you. Even if you don’t have business smarts, you’re not a doctor, you’re not a lawyer, and you don’t have time to commit to taking an idea from conception to realization, it doesn’t mean you don’t have the ability to make money.

Did you know that you can make money even if you don’t have a job? Look around. You own a lot of stuff, don’t you? Do you have a yard? Here are some ways you can take the resources around you and turn them around for a little extra dough:

Raid Your Closet

You probably have a fair share of clothing in your closet, right? It’s natural. Nothing to be ashamed of. If you want to make room for the new, you need to get rid of some of the old. There are many ways you can do this. Raid your closet to see what you never wear.

Be real with yourself. If it’s been in the closet untouched for more than six months, get rid of it. Hawk it. Take it to a consignment store, hold a clothing sale on your driveway, sell it online. Do something and don’t take less than what it’s worth. You’ll be amazed how much money materializes once you clear your closet of the things that are only taking up space.

Hunt For Gold

If you live in an area that is heavily wooded, you need to get out and start hunting for gold. Not real gold, but pretty close to. Morel mushrooms and other mushrooms like truffles are worth a fortune and they’re free for you to search out and pick to then sell to eager customers who will pay more than a pretty penny.

If mushrooms aren’t available in the wild where you live, try something else. Huckleberries and other wild edibles are in high demand for restaurants. If you do a little research at what is around you, you can be making some good money for minimal time commitment and you don’t have to commit to a job. Your job is to be Dora the Explorer. There’s nothing better than that.

Donate Plasma

For an hour of your time two days a week you could be making a small fortune donating plasma. You sit in a chair, they prick you with a needle (so you have to be okay with that), you come, you sit, you leave, and they funnel money into your bank account. You could be making upwards of $70 dollars a week for a couple hours of your time. You’re also saving a life doing so. It’s a no brainer.
